Devon Stable Care Collective runs a quiet yard on the edge of Bovey Tracey. Our focus is day-to-day horse welfare: regular feeds, clean water checks, safe turnout, and calm handling. We keep groups small, speak plainly, and record what we do so owners can follow along without fuss.
Each horse has a simple plan that we review as seasons and ground conditions change. We share updates by message or call, note any tack or shoeing changes, and keep routines steady so horses settle well and progress is easy to see over time.

Lucy plans hacks and schooling sessions to suit fitness and footing. She logs distance and pace, and works with the farrier and vet schedule so training and recovery stay balanced.
Part Livery
from £45 / day
Stable care, feeds, turnout, and routine checks. We keep notes on rugs, boots, and any supplements, and share simple updates so you always know how the horse is doing.
Exercise Sessions
from £28 / session
Hacking or schooling planned to footing and fitness. We record pace and distance, adjust as needed, and coordinate with farrier and saddle checks for steady progress.
Grooming & Clipping
from £18 / appointment
Regular grooming, mane tidy, and seasonal clipping options. We work quietly, keep the area neat, and note skin or coat changes for your records.
What do we provide daily?
Feed, water checks, mucking out, and turnout as agreed. Notes are recorded after each round so you can see small changes over the week.
Can I store tack and feed on site?
Yes—there is labelled space in the tack room for rugs, boots, and feed. Please keep lids closed and items clearly named.
How do vet and farrier visits work?
We coordinate dates with you and can hold the horse if you cannot attend. Visit notes are added to your care log the same day.
Is there trailer parking?
Limited on-site parking is available by arrangement. We’ll point you to the hardstanding area on arrival.
What should I bring on first visit?
Passport, feed details, current rug sizes, and any recent vet or farrier notes. If unsure, bring what you have and we’ll review together.
